Another great article from Graphic Design Junction. This one highlights Brand Identity and how you should convert your first step of logo creation and turn it into a brand. Typically when a company first starts up they need basic things like business cards, letterheads, envelopes, pens, etc. If you can put your logo on all of these and make it all look cohesive this is how you develop the identity. This is a great look at how some companies have developed their identity. In my opinion, when you see such great work and detail placed into how a company markets itself it speaks highly of how they produce their products or services. Go take a look and get inspired!
There are tons of logos out there for branding ones own business or service but this is a really good collection of quality fonts from lots of different services. What I really like about logo design is that the idea of a logo is so complex but some of the best are so simple. Have a look at this great collection over at Graphic Design Junction
Business cards are like a handshake. They tell alot about a person in about 2 seconds. An introduction if you will. I spent about 3 months on a business card before I printed it. Here are a few for your inspiration to make your decisions easier.
I work in the beverage industry so I love seeing quality beer logo and package design. The designers have to spark intrigue and a sense of quality and taste with the designs and the cool thing about beer is that there’s so many different tastes! Pale ales, lagers, pilsners, wheat beer, IPA. Makes me thirsty! Cool to see how these brands, most of which I haven’t heard of, translate their designs to reflect the taste and flavor of their products. Check ’em out below.
